About City Mosaic
City Mosaic is a 501C non-profit organization with a mission to support, promote, and grow the visual art community in downtown Springfield, Massachusetts, including, but not limited to, arranging exhibits, sponsoring programs, planning events, offering classes and lectures and collaborating with artists, galleries, educational institutions, museums and businesses, to improve the City landscape, educate, entertain, and enhance lives.
Our Mission
City Mosaic’s objective is to continue to bring art to downtown Springfield using a variety of local talent including artist John Simpson and his UMass students. City Mosaic has been part of bringing art and culture to the City over the last decade, including the recent Worthington Street Mural and Restoration project at Stearns Square and other planned mural projects and initiatives downtown.
